Absence or Failing Report
Instructor's Comments/Suggestions:
Andrew has three absences so far this semester and has only attended class once. The Department of Rhetoric and Writing's attendance policy states that a student may only miss four classes during a semester and will fail a course upon the fifth absence. Andrew needs to see me as soon as possible to discuss this and also other course policies and his progress in the class.

dope ass gangsta steez ya dig!?
I don’t know what it is about about tall teez but when you put one on its like damn it feels good to be a gangster. Everyone has a lil gangster inside em and sometimes its good to just do some gangster shit. So when I saw this edit I was super inspired because there seems to be a lack of gangster steez in the world of wake compared to our board strapping cousin snowboarding. So throw on a XXL if u got one and if you don’t well just say chea and peep dis edit sonnnnn! CHCHCHEA

texas winch trip
We wanted to top off our winchtastic vid so we decided to hit up three spots again in one weekend. After alot of driving, Mcdonalds, and some injuries this is what we came out with after one of the most epic weekends we have ever had. There's nothing like an old fashioned texas winch trip. enjoy.

SONGS
I have some sick footy and im trying to edit it right now but cant find the right song. I find myself in this constant struggle because a song makes the edit and it has to create those certain vibes. So, if you're reading this please post a song that you think would go good with an edit or just one of your favorite songs right now. Thanks.

Winchtopia
Ok, so Max tells us that he might know of this winch spot in Tyler, so we show up and at first sight our breath was taken away. There are 4 drops in a row,and all are unique in there own little way. One pond has a drop off with two 30' down ledges on each side, and another has two 10' ledges straight out from a drop off which are both gonna be SICK. We have been waiting a long time to find a spot like this and im pretty sure our lives will be changed forever. We are waiting for the ponds to fill up with more water before we hit the down ledges cause the ponds are pretty dry right now. Here's two pictures and a little clip, so get ready for next weeks edit. And you'll be seeing alot more where this came from.

He's Back!
Well after police stations picked up our website for having footage of a police officer and it getting out to the whole town including the officer in the video (Moes), we decided to throw it back up for the world to see one more time. Moes wasn’t to happy about us filming him, so he took a chainsaw to our 60’ pine tree rooftop rail, and sent us a ticket in the mail for having “ski jumps” on our property. Just payed the ticket, and the rails aren’t coming down anytime soon so don’t worry. Hope you enjoy Moes at his finest, and if you’re reading this, no hard fellings man can’t wait to see you on the water this summer. Thanks for keeping our lake safe.

correx
ive been waiting for this moment for a long time. correx is probably the hardest thing to find and even harder to transport it to a lake and get it ready to shred, but it finally happened. snowboarders will always be our ancestors and they have been shredding this metal tube of death since the beginning of time. ive always thought this was the sickest thing in snow edits due to the gnarly look and the sound it creates when shredded upon. aight guys check it. thank you snowboarding.

railboarding
brent besing came down to lake athens for the weekend to shoot with his death lens and he is nice enough to let us borrow it till summer, so there will be alot more fisheye shots in the future. we also set up a track for the hvx which turned out to get some pretty epic shots. we headed down to the oakwood junkyard and set up a pole jam in front of the up rail which brought in some snow steez to the edit. next week is our spring break and the new boat is coming in so we'll try to crank out a couple a vids over the week. nothin is better than a nice railboarding sesh.

all natural rooftop rail - part 1
this past weekend we started the first step to creating an all natural rooftop rail out of pine trees. we spent the whole weekend cutting down trees and next weekend we hope to finish the rail. the rail is going to be 60 ft long and we're putting it in gar pond which is a pond on the backside of the dam at our lake. its the sickest place ever, we have a 20 ft tall teepee back there which is in the vid and soon we will have a rooftop rail to destroy with the winch. hope you enjoy.

words of wisdom
I got this in a text message from Brent Besing late one night...shits deep.
Our lives are gifts dude. Being able to shred is a gift. Do you know what introduced you to shred? I don’t even know, because I know I skate and wakeboarded for a while, not truly understanding what shredding really meant. I don’t think until recently like in the past couple years I really understood what shredding is. Shredding is a term that should not be taken lightly. I know it is thrown around like duuuude lets shred the gnar and shit like that. But shred, shredding and the shred have a deep true meaning. I believe it is a word understood by a select few, and the shred is the only way to describe this way of life. Try to imagine a life without shred, no skate, no wake, no snow, who would we be? What would we live for, what would we get pumped about? What would we think about? What would we try to do with our lives? Its nuts thinking about how much this shred thing has affected our lives, seriously dude, what would we be talking about without our love for shredding, trying to make a shit load of money? But to do what with? Buy a big house and a fast car? I just think that shredding puts a lot of things in perspective like some of the best things in life aren’t hard to obtain if you want it for the right reason, I just think its so badass that we know what fuels us and we know what truly makes us happy and we can live this life, its just a matter of choice, people could see us as bums or losers cause we’re not making a lot of money, which seems to be the most important thing in our society, I dunno dude, I guess what im trying to say is we’re really lucky to have this shred thing cause I feel like all the rest don’t have anything like that and don’t really know what to want other than a job that pays a lot no matter how shitty and time consuming the job is, it’s a trip to think about how we’re just humans living on planet earth and we do this thing we call shredding and we love it, we think it’s the most badass thing that exists, we think about it everyday, we want to do it every chance we get, it really is apart of us, we really do have something that very few have, a passion, something we love, something we pursue, we wont ever change, we are shredders for life, lets all be thankful for the shred in our lives and thank God that we have something that we really do love. This life is short, we will all die at some point, we all have awesome lives especially us shredders, lets live everyday we are able and never look back, we gotta stay true to what we love and not fall into any kind of bs, we have been givin many gifts, we are blessed dude, we have a lot, be thankful and live well brotha, shred all you can cause it’s a gift, one life dude we have one life, only one, and we know what we wanna do with it, we’re gonna shred till we die, why would we do anything else!? STD!! Shred Till Death!!!
